The Air & Waste Management Association (AWMA) is a non-profit, non-partisan, professional organization that enhances knowledge and expertise by providing a neutral forum for information exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education, and outreach to environmental professionals around the world. Their mission is to assist in professional development and critical environmental decision-making of their members to benefit society.
The AWMA hosts an annual conference and exhibition to bring together industry, academia, and policymakers from across North America. The next conference and exhibition is scheduled for June 24 - 27, 2024, and will be held in Calgary. There is an opportunity for CASA to host a session during the conference to share information on the organization and our work.
At its September 7, 2023, meeting, CASA’s board of directors decided to strike a committee to plan a session to promote CASA and its work during this conference in 2024. The committee’s work will include writing and submitting an abstract to highlight CASA’s multi-stakeholder process and selected projects during the session, identifying presenters, and assisting in the preparation of presentations.
