THE MARTHA KOSTUCH LEGACY WORKSHOP
The Martha Kostuch Legacy Workshop honoured the consensus-building contribution of the late Martha Kostuch, long-time CASA member. The name of the workshop was Bridging Interests, Building Agreement. Details about the conference are available on that page.
Consensus brings multiple stakeholders to the same table to create innovative solutions to complex problems.

The team’s final report was accepted in 2009.
CONSENSUS DECISION-MAKING TOOLKIT
Out of the workshop has come the Consensus Decision-making Toolkit, a combination of checklists and templates to enhance consensus-building. There are no right or wrong answers in consensus decision making, but the toolkit introduces the various steps and considerations that should be explored. A collaborative publication by the CASA and the Alberta Water Council, the printed toolkit is also available by request to info@awc-casa.ca.
